Additional Info/Specialties  In addition to teaching, I have been a commissioned composer and arranger for musical theatre, a musical theatre pianist, and recording artist.  Complete creative & performing resume is on my website, www.keyboardadventures.com.  I want students to find their own musical voice and passion and be equipped to make music both on and off the page.  I specialize in composition and jazz improvisation, how to play with a band, creating arrangements from a lead sheet, and building confidence in creative youth.  My teaching is not Euro-centric, but includes exposure to female composers, American composers, jazz & popular, African-American, Spanish, and other non-European composers.
